We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Content Writing and Social Media Coordination Intern to join our team at CaptainBiz. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in crafting engaging content, managing social media platforms, and collaborating with a social media agency to support creative and posting content.
Responsibilities: Content Creation and Social Media Management:
- Assist in developing and executing content strategies across various channels, including blog posts, website pages, and social media platforms.
- Create engaging and SEO-friendly written content for blog posts, website pages, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the marketing team and social media agency to develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
- Schedule and publish social media posts on platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the online community.
- Work closely with the social media agency to support creative content development and posting.
- Assist in creating visually appealing graphics, images, and videos for social media posts using design tools.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in content creation and social media marketing.
- Track and analyze social media and content performance using analytics tools and provide insights and recommendations.
Collaboration with Social Media Agency:
- Coordinate with the social media agency to ensure alignment with content strategy and brand guidelines.
- Provide feedback and suggestions on creative content developed by the agency.
- Collaborate with the agency on social media posting schedules, content ideas, and campaign execution.
- Assist in monitoring and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns and suggest improvements.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for content creation, social media, and digital marketing.
- Basic knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
